I have a 98 Suzuki Sidekick 1.6L with a broken kickdown cable. I can't find a replacement anywhere. Even the dealership. I've been told I shouldn't have one. Help!

Not sure if your supose to have one or not, but depending on what broke, many bike(motorcyle) shops make custom cables and may be able to repair the one you have. Good luck, Sno

Best bet is try a few of the local wreckers; they should have for you but if it is urgent make sure they are on parts location network.
Anything late 90's tracker/sidekick with 1.6 should work... not a whole lot of difference other that cable length. I would not suggest imrpovised method but it's not uncommon failure at the upper end of the cable at the throttle body!
