I just put a 50k mile Jap motor 1.6 in my 96 sidekick 4dr 4x4. Now I like the truck again. I have a Rocky Road 2" Body lift on order. This is a daily driver However I want to take it off road more. I have to replace my wheels because 2 are slightly bent. I trying to find out a good combo that won't rub and I read I will have to change out my rear shocks. Which ones should I choose? I am looking to do it inexpensive as possible. Economy thing. Thanks for your suggestions . Oh, any comments on this lift would be helpful.

Should be modest when approaching tires sizes; anywhere 31-33" should be fine avoid over width if you need wider tires check the offset on the rim very carefully. This can correct possible rub conditions but avoiding wider tires will improve steerability!

One more thing; if you go beyond 31" tires, expect to rebuild diff's changing gear ration becuase 1.6 won't have the cahonies for anything bigger unless you adjust gear ratio!

find a set of rims from a samurai there the same width but have about +1 more offset than the tracker rims. and im running a 10.5" wide tire on them with no issues
