I had an 83 Sammy , too small for a growing family .....it had to go ( man I missed the 0-60 in 25 minutes !) several cars later ....... I sold my YJ & bought a 94 JLX 4 door sidekick (man I love driving this thing ! ) Cost of fuel was a big motivator . the **** only got 27 mpg combined driving , the zuki gets 40 !

Hi Tbone, I too recently bought a 94 jx 4 door 4x4, during the high gas prices of last summer. I have to drive 70 miles roundtrip every day monday through friday. My zuki sidekick gets about 31 to 34 highway, and I think your mpg is higher maybe because of the different sized gallon of gas sold in BcC?? Anyway, this is my first jap car, always a Chevy truck and car man until now. Ihave been testing this little bugger in the snow and on the trails and I love it. I can't explain why, it just feels right. It is a 5 speed and that makes it more fun. See Ya
