My speedometer cluster is grinding itself to death. Replacing the cable is also needed, but the local dealership doesn't want much for it. The cluster is another story.
There don't seem to be many used 95 Sidekicks around. Nobody seems to have a speedometer cluster, which shouldn't be hard to find if there's one in a junkyard somewhere.
The Suzuki Part# is 34100-71E80
This is for a 1995 Suzuki Sidekick JLX 4WD 4D 5-Speed VIN# available on request.
Thanks so much!

I have an extra cluster from a '94 Tracker 4WD, part # 34100-60AM0 (or is that an O?), the kind with speedo & tach, probably compatible? (I don't think the shape of the cluster changed until '96)
email me if you'd like pics.

EDITED
WIRING WARNING Speedometer Cluster Interchangeability
SO THE PLUGS WON'T FIT! Note: for all readers, the sockets changed… in '94 and '95... to 13pins and 16pins per socket. While; ALL ’93 and earlier clusters, used 10 pins & 12 pins per socket.
DIFFERENCES BETWEEN 2 AND 4 DOOR The 94's and the 95's are the same, WITHIN SAME VEHICLES. However When crossing a 94 sidekick 4D cluster with a 94 Tracker 2D cluster; I found 14 or so, wires in different locations within the sockets (never found out if it was a Suzuki Vs. Tracker Thing or a 2Door Vs. 4Door Thing) its serious, Guys.
EVEN IF THE PLUGS DO FIT Finally, Guys... take a look at gsapien's first photo (under FOR SALE Speedometer Cluster). See where there are little rectangular protrusions around the stems of the Temp. and Fuel gauges; I F YOURS is SQUARE there, around the stems, then it may not be wired the same. I had to change 14 of the 29 wires in the plugs to match this "square version" of the cluster. (Even though each plug fits and has the same # of wires, THEY ARE IN DIFFERENT ORDER, when comparing these clusters w/ Rectangular vs. Square protrusions).
INTERCHANGE IS NOT POSSIBLE the units are built completely different so the templates will not interchange to compensate for the different body styles. They are made by Nippondenso (CAMI is not noted anywhere on the unit).
WIRING MODS THAT MAKE IT HAPPEN I have a list of the wires that need to be changed ....will save you hours of tracing circuits...
I'm glad I have a 2 door modified to use (and Test) these 4 door clusters with the square protrusions...
Knowing this, should save lots of shipping $$$ and lots of driving back and forth to the salvage yards.
Please, pass it on...

the other reference number I see both on the printed circuit and on the part# sticker underneath the cluster is SZ-0923-001 (or SZ-923-01). hope that helps
