Down south because iam living in chile (next to argentina for those who dont know), australian born. i own a 97 suzuki rugby 2000cc, its a sidekick with the lots and a 1995cc motor that i love, lifted it a 2" suspencion and 2cm between the body and chasis running 235 75 r15 on 8"rims its realy good looking ;D. all thats fine the only problem ive encountered, is the transfer case oil seal (the one that goes to the front) i changed it so i would stop leaking (just a little), but i didnt work and still is leaking any ideas, hpoe theres no problem about asking this here it should be in the teck sec,

Hi Rugby2000, welcome, mate Indeed, many forum members check the tech side more often. If the new seal is still leaking, check the quality of the seal; any chance you can get a better quality one? Otherwise, maybe your drive shaft is imposing some movement in the seal (for example, if its u-joint is seized) that makes it leak. When you reinstall a new one, careful when pressing it in, use a soft face mallet. Plus, put some grease on it before sliding the driveshaft in. That's a start... Louis (up north - Ottawa, Canada)
