I just found you, so I thought I would check your site out. I own a 1997 JS 2wd model with a little less than 88,000 miles. I bought it last summer to replace my Ford Escort (rotted out). So far, I like the little truck. I get an average of 28mpg with mixed driving. It went down when the winter got going, but last summer it got 30mpg!
I have a couple of questions for anyone with technical experience. Has anyone else suffered from frozen door locks in winter? I don't dare lock it if we are going to get wet snow/sleet/freezing rain as it won't unlock leaving me stuck without a car.
Also, does anyone know the proper usage of the "power" switch? I used it for the first time this last Friday in a snowstorm and it seemed to help limit the tire slippage as I started moving.
