I got stuck in my driveway today....lol. I wanted to turn my Sidekick around in my driveway. I was a bit too hardy and the vehicle ended up slightly nose down in deep snow. The right front wheel was lower than the left front wheel so I ended up with the right front wheel spinning on nothing but snow and the left rear wheel barely touching the ice. I shoveled away as much snow as possible and put some chains under the wheels but when I went to restart the Sidekick, it wouldn't start. I guess the gas hose is rubber and got pinched between the bottom of the vehicle and the snow. I phoned a neighbour and he helped me out with his ATV. However, I guess there was enough gas that got through the gas line because my truck started and it backed out real easy. From what I could see, these vehicles are not true 4X4. Only the left rear wheel and the right front wheel were turning when I applied power. I thought that at least the rear differential was locked.
