Hi all I have a 99 vit 3 door tin top 4x4 2.0l 5 speed manual 2 in lift Vitara snorkel wench bumper 31 in kendal m/t tires . On the trails and in the woods she's a bad ass.
A couple months ago the timing chain was making noise so I replaced it whole kit. It ran fine for 3 or 4 hundred miles started making noise again. Took it back apart replaced every thing. It ran fine 350 miles started making same noise again. took it back apart ordered new kit from different place put it back together Now 3 or 4 hundred miles it is doing it again Any ideas

Mostly one owner (man I bought it from inherited it only had it a month)
All maint done at Suzuki dealer ship
inside engine Clean enough to eat off of no gunk no sludge super clean goldish color (Flushed out anyway no help)
oil is 5w30 synthic Valvoline
I installed a oil pressure gauge (Engine hot 4000 rpm pressure is 60psi)
It seems to be the top tensioner
only thing not changed was the one time use metal gasket (could this be the cause)?
If so why would it do it after the 3 or 4 hundred miles.
Has anyone had this problem before or no what and how to check next.
I have read all the forms I can find with no help.
