I just bought a 91 Sidekick it has new fuel tank, fuel pump. fuel filter, Dis Cap, rotor, wires. This thing has seen its better days, I am getting no fire to my coil, nor is the fuel pump kicking on when I turn the Key on. I have checked the fuses under the drivers side dash all seem to me good. besides the fuse box under the hood with like 5 big fuses in it are there anymore I should be looking for? Also I can't find the Fuel Pump Relay. I have no manual or diagram to go by.

ok I got it to run, when I was checking the fuses I over looked that some were missing lol I fail sorry. Problem now is that It doesnt want to Idle. I can floor it and get to like 3000 rpm's then let off and it will run for a minute then i will have to floor it again or it will die. Im thinking maybe injector is bad? or Idle air control. Would really like some help on this one because those 2 parts are about 250 bucks each. so I dont wanna miss.

Check your fuel pressure. If your fuel pressure regulator is not operating correctly it will loose fuel pressure and die. check vacuum line to fuel pressure regulator, if it's plugged or loose you can loose vacuum which can also cause the fuel pressure regulator to malfunction because they are vacuum operated.

Ive screwed with my sidekick threw part after part at it for exactly the same problem....It was the ECM that thing causes all kinds of screwey problems.Ive since bought repaired 4 side kicks that wouldnt run or run bad 3 of the 4 needed a ECM .TPS and
Ecm are the shortcomings of the 1.6 sidekicks.
