hi, Im a new member and Id like to introduce my self and try to get a little help, to start with I must make it clear that I do not own a sidekick but my boss does... my name is rich and I live in wyoming, I am trying to find out what i can do to fix my bosses sidekick. the problem is it has been sitting for at least 9 years. before it was parked they removed the horn relay, the flasher relay, the rawl relay and the fuel pump relay. with a little research I found that to just get this thing running all I needed to replace was the fuel pump relay so I have done this and now I dont have any spark. can anyone tell me what im doing wrong??? the only thing I have done so far is put in a new fuel pump relay...

First question : are you absolutely sure you don't have spark? are you sure you have fuel pressure? there are several common problems with the fuel system on kicks that have been sitting for a long time...luckily they are very easy to fix. If you are sure you have fuel and no spark ....have you changed the plugs, wires , cap and rotor? Have you checked all the fuses? both fuse boxes, box under dash and main fuses in the engine compartment? it is common for the bottom of the main box to corrode and fail...again easy fix if you know what your looking for. Hope that helps get you started , feel free to ask for more help or details if needed...good luck
