I have a 98 sidekick with 130k miles, that has been maintained and always ran great. lately it has developed an intermittent missing or loping while warming up, and when driving it has a bad hesitation below 3,000 rpm. however i have noticed a pattern like this: let it warm up thoroughly, shut off for a bout 5 minutes, restart and drive - runs perfect! works every time, but if you start it and go - runs like crap no matter how far you go. gotta shut down and wait, then fine. Whats going on?
