My big serpentine belt needed replacement. I came across this thread: sidekick.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=sidekick&action=display&thread=905
I was able to take it off fine but I just can't put the new one back on for the life of me. There's just not enough slack when I try to pull it onto a pulley while moving the tensioner.
Is there any trick to it? Do I need to loosen something like the alternator or water pump?
Any help would be appreciated.
