YO! i have a 95 sidekick 1.6L 16v with the auto locking hubs and an auto transmission. i just finally finish working on it. I love this thing. put a 2" suspenion lift and a 2" body lift on it. got me so big ass 33" tires and 16" crome inset rims. this is like the ultimate off-road vehicle. got some tubular bumpers on it too. the only bad part is that it is the 4 door model, but my friends love riding in this thing. i did have a problem with the stereo system though. it was too loud. got 2 3000 watt amps and 4 15" subs but i can normally only have 2 in if i am driving my friends. this thing definatly thumps hard. the inside is lined with black lights along the ceiling and i decided to top it off with the blue underglows. just a tip...they look great on the chassi but you can't really see them on the road. also remember to install at least 2 capasitors...one for the lights and one for the amps...if you don't, you will blow up your alternator like i did...twice. in all it took about $6,000 to make this happen, and most of that money was spent on sound.

I know 2 door models , but this could work for you also. When I use big tires on my automatic, the take-off power is reduced and the speedometer reads off by 8 MPH or so. A remedy for this ... is to find the front housing and rear axle from a 5 speed which uses a 5.125 :1 ratio. The 2 door (and maybe 4 door)automatics come with 4.56:1 axles. So the swop would get you closer to the original final drive ratio and speedometer reading. Gman
