I just joined yesterday and I'm glad to see a forum about these great little vehicles. I have a '96 Tracker and I have enjoyed it for over 3 years now.It has been on numerous trips including 2 trips to Mexico. The last trip I stayed in Mexico for 5 months and even put the Tracker to work at my son in law's tortillaria. The 4 wheel drive came in handy quit a few times in some of the places we had to deliver. They are truly amazing vehicles.

Welcome, tracker96, to the Forum
There's Lots to be said, and lots to be read. I hope you don't have to read my stuff much cause it usually deals with problems that are not so good. I have several Sidekicks/Trackers (All 2Dr) and only two have failed during my ownership (a water pump and a burnt valve) I learned specific Sidekick/Tracker stuff by turning neglected ole heaps into comfortable /reliable rides.
Hope you enjoy the fun part of this forum... stories ,etc.
OR if you need any help, There are lots of us that would be happy to share some thought ...on the matter.
There's also a message system up in the top right of the pages...

Hello Gman, Thanks for the welcome.I look forward to learning from this forum and maybe I can help once in a while. Only two out of several don't sound too bad. These seem to be pretty reliable vehicles. Steve
