Hey all newbie here , 96 Sidekick, 1.6 . It starts and idles but way down. if you give it much throttle it will almost die out and sometimes does. Once the RPMS are up it seems to respond fine. I pulled the EGR and seems clear. I also pulled the IAC and even replaced it, still same issue. It does have a fuel leak at the tank, Im wondering if there is something back there that could cause this issue? Any ideas? Pretty desperate

I just adjust mine lately , go see my post you will understand why ... Mine is an 16 valve 4wd 94 , I wish it's the same way to do for your's. The place where is supposed your air palet who does air/no air there is an black solenoid who is hold by 2 screw (star one , don't take a too long screw driver) unscrew them gently not all the way just egnough to allow you to rotate the solenoid. Start your truck. While running rotate the solenoid to have the idle rpm you want (you may need someone IN the truck to tell you ). When it's better, There is a black rubber cover about 1/2 inch size, at the top of your air pallet area. inside it's an other star screw. Screw or unscrew till you have the rpm you want. With the last screw the reaction is a bit longer, but about 5 sec.
Wish that could help. If not , just repost with more detail , thx !
